Day 11: de schemerlamp van oma
Another Oma’s stuff that I still have is this schemerlamp. It used to accompany her in her room. However, it’s not as old as the fan though. About 12 to 13 years, I think.
For the past few years, Oma’s schemerlamp had traveled from places to places until finally ends up with me again. Now, I put on a yellow bulb to accompany my good sleep.

entry number 10: helicopterfan
Among the so many old things in my house, the one I’m still using is this fan. It was my Grandmother’s and I think it has been around for around twenty years.
Anyways, despite of the age, the fan sounds like a helicopter. Totally annoying when I’m talking on the phone at night. However, it really helps me going through the heat in my room.
Also, the most interesting part of the helicopterfan is sometimes, I have to wind it first so that it runs smoothly. Otherwise, it runs very slow that not long after it stops ^^; That’s also why I don’t put the cap on - to make it easier whenever it needs winding XD -

This is the stand meter which put on the veranda wall near the garage. It’s there so that people can look at it from outside the fence. I always update the numbers on the 14th day of the month to prevent the electricity dude from knocking and disturbing my sleep ^^
